Michael has been an avid gardener since moving home to the Sunshine Coast in the late 90’s. He studied Environmental Science as an undergraduate and since embarking on the ginger journey has been thrilled to be able to use his degree on the farm.

When he’s not undertaking farm management tasks he is re-vegetating key corridors on the property to help return these areas to pre-dairy sub tropical landscapes and playing around on the growing machinery collection.

Walking the Furrows

Farming was a natural progression for Emma who loves to cook with freshly grown, local products. “The satisfaction from walking out into your backyard to harvest the pieces required for a meal is unbeatable”.

During the week, when she isn’t at uni studying, Emma can be found tweaking the vege patch, weeding and harvesting. She also spends a great deal of time trying to get Michael off the farm and down to the beach!
